Have you heard of Pentatonix?

I freely admit that I’m pretty much a hermit. I do cruise the net for news and the library and Netflix for TV and documentaries, but I’m often extremely behind in anything new and pop culture-y. Basically, when I called the name of this blog lives in stone, it does sometimes refer to the fact that I’m often living in my own cave and ignoring everything but my own interests. Anyway, just in case I’m not the only one, I wanted to post about an a cappella group that I stumbled upon who kind of blew my mind. I had no idea that a cappella could be that amazing. The group is called Pentatonix and you really just have to listen to them to believe how great they are.

Here’s a clip if you wanna check ’em out:

Have you heard of them? What do you think?

  1. Wow! That was really cool. I think I probably live in a my own little kind of cave, because after the 1970s, I don’t think I recognized a single tune this group sang. I mostly listen to folk music and 70s stuff, although the kids introduced me to some good stuff, like Carbon Leaf and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
    Thanks for sharing!
